Jeep Cherokee Trims
The new Jeep Cherokee is available in the Altitude Lux or Trailhawk trim levels. The Jeep Cherokee Altitude Lux is the base model. The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is fitted with a smaller, more powerful engine. The new Cherokee Trailhawk is built a little heavier, wider, and taller than the base Altitude Lux. The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk also features a cloth interior with red accent stitching.
Jeep Cherokee Performance
The new Jeep Cherokee Altitude has a 2.4-liter inline-four cylinder Zero Evap Multiair engine with stop/start, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and a 4x4 drivetrain. The Cherokee Altitude Lux generates up to 180 horsepower, 171 pound-feet of torque, and a 2000-pound towing capacity. The estimated fuel economy for this model is 21 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway.
The new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk has a 2.0-liter inline-four cylinder direct-injection turbo engine with stop/start, a nine-speed automatic transmission with Active Drive II, and a 4x4 drivetrain. The new Cherokee Trailhawk generates up to 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and has a 2000-pound towing capacity. The payload capacity for both models is 1,000 pounds.

The new Jeep Cherokee features heated, power-fold exterior mirrors with courtesy lamps and supplemental signals. The exterior features front LED fog lamps, automatic Bi-function LED projector headlamps with auto high-beam control, and LED tail lamps. The Cherokee is available in five colors and comes standard with accent and body-color fascias. Active grill shutters, black lower door cladding, gloss-black roof rails, and body-color door handles are also standard.
The new Jeep Cherokee comes standard with a black interior and heated, premium leather-trimmed front bucket seats. The driver seat is eight-way power adjustable. The Cherokee comes standard with a heated steering wheel and a leather-wrapped shift knob. Power lumbar is standard in both front seats. The rear features a 60/40 folding split reclining seat with heat ducts. The interior provides 25.8 cubic feet of interior room space and up to 54.7 cubic feet of space with the second-row seats down.
Jeep Cherokee Tech Features
The Jeep Cherokee has an 8.4-inch Uconnect® 4C navigation touchscreen display featuring voice command control for infotainment features like climate, audio, and connectivity functions. Smart device integration, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, and integrated voice commands are also standard. A six-speaker audio system is standard, but a premium Alpine speaker system is available. Push-button start is also standard.
Jeep Cherokee Safety
The new Jeep Cherokee has advanced brake-assist and anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes. Some of the standard safety systems include all-speed traction control, blind-spot and cross-path detection, hill-start assist, and electronic roll mitigation. Lane-departure warning, full-speed forward collision warning, and an enhanced accident response system also come standard to keep you safe near Texarkana.
